We meet by the famous mt. Kirkjufell and the guide tells about the geology of the mountain and folk tales related to it, and then the walk around the mountain starts. Half way, under the northern slope of Kirkjufell we stop to enjoy our lunch, which is specially prepared for the trip by one of the restaurants in the area. Nothing beats eating delicious food in God's green nature. This is a moderately difficult walk, 6 km long and takes approx. 3-4 hours with stops to take photos and enjoy lunch.

Meeting point: the small picnic area by the green container by Kirkjufell mountain (across the road from the waterfall - parking lot).

What to bring: A water bottle and warm and sensible clothing for Icelandic weather.
